Finely cast in three parts, the elongated stepped base, decorated with two tigers in a bamboo grove near a rushing stream, with a rounded top supporting the base of the koro. Cast with two rain dragon handles, its tapering body with a short neck rising to a flared mouth and a flat rim, surmounted by an openwork cover with a Buddhist lion finial. The body is cast with two frames of sparrows perching on the branches of a blossoming prunus tree.
